I’m totally feeling these colors. Pinks, purples, roses, decadent, party time.

I’m so happy its friday.  I’m doing a pretty well at enjoying my evenings after work, but it will be nice to have two whole days to myself to work on projects, exercise, do my nails, clean my bathroom… you know normal stuff.  Keep it real people. xo.

I’m actually perfectly happy that it is still winter (says the girl from the place that will be in the 80s this weekend), but I couldn’t resist posting a few photos from the Spring/Summer collection of French Line, Sessun.  So rad huh??

I’m predicting that we are all going to be taking a jump into headscarf/kercheif land this coming Spring and beyond.  Last Summer, in Portland, I saw a northwestern girl riding her bike with a scarf tied under her chin looking absolutely adorable. Intruiged, I went home and tried the look on myself.  I felt a little ridiculous though, as I often do with brand new to me trends.  However, since then I have seen headscarves pop up all over the place, and not because I watch a ton of Sound of Music.  No, on Pinterest, around the blogs and on the runways I have seen a plethora of head scarves being worn by pretty girls everywhere.  I think I am going to start experiementing with this look again, its just so cute! xo

I think I may start to truly understand phrases like “TGIF” and “Case of the Mondays”.  9-5 is a grueling thing and the weekends, especially this last one, are true beacons of joy.  Slightly dramatic, sorry.  But hey, I’m adjusting into a new regime called “the work force”.  Give me a break.

This weekend was extra special.  I was able to see my best friend, Lizzie, and attend a hugggeee music convention in Anaheim, CA called NAMM.  I have never seen so many characters all in one place in my entire life.  Or had so many songs playing in my ears at one time.  Present were performers from Slip Knot as well as Stevie Wonder and, I’m pretty positive, Will Ferrell.  As crazy as NAMM was, I have to say everyone I met was terribly nice.  It was a nutso occasion, and I took pictures.  Here is just a sampling.   Enjoy! xo

In my head this is my “Fall Transition” outfit.  Because, well, Orange is totally in for this Spring, and I love burgundy for the Fall.  So… by wearing both I’m transitioning… see? Lol.  To be honest, I dont want to let burgundy go.  Do we have to?  I just love love love it.  That and forest green. I’m not ready to let go of forest green either. However, colors I am perfectly excited about are citrine and pink.  What colors are you getting pumped to wear?
